What does cPanel's Email Filters feature do?

The Email Filters feature in cPanel is a web interface which allows the users of cPanel to set up filters for their e-mail accounts for each domain and subdomain. You can set certain words or phrases from any incoming mail to be caught by the filter and you can set rules as to how the system handles the incoming mail.

For example, if you want to set up a filter for the word “example”, you can choose by which rule every incoming e-mail will be filtered. The filter may be looking for the word “example” in the body of the e-mail or in the subject and if the e-mail contains this word, the system will perform the action which you have chosen (discard the message or move it in a specified folder or some other action).
